Wavewalkrs is an electronic music and sound design duo founded in Kyiv in 2017 by musicians and producers Yurii Vodolazhskyi and Nikita Reva.

The project began through a shared instinct for cinematic sound, live performance and collaboration. In 2018, while working around the Vilna project for Ukraine’s Eurovision national selection, the duo began writing their own material. Early releases with Akine - including a live cover of Take Me To Church - were filmed at Zvukoceh, on the Dovzhenko Film Studios grounds. Soon after, #truthlies and What Is Love introduced the direct, physical language that became part of the Wavewalkrs identity: original music, live performance and image moving as one.

In 2019, Wavewalkrs toured Europe with Akine in support of Bastille and Lewis Capaldi, performing for audiences across Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Zurich, Antwerp and Amsterdam. The same year brought festival appearances at Atlas Weekend and Gogol Fest, support shows for Miles Kane and White Lies, original music for Lenovo Yoga, and the release of the debut album U via UK label Perfect Filth.

The following years expanded the project’s sound and collaborations. In / Sanity captured the disorientation of 2020; in 2021, a creative connection with French singer Sauvane opened a more intimate, vocal dimension. Their second album, Rebirth, brought piano and violin further into the foreground and marked a new emotional chapter for the duo.

Following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Wavewalkrs focused increasingly on commercial and cultural work - bringing the same authorship and sensitivity to film, fashion and brand worlds. Their work includes original music and creative sound design for Maison Margiela and John Galliano, Ferrari, Lenovo, Zara and other international clients. In 2025, the duo created music for the opening show of Quiddia Six Flags in Riyadh, alongside new releases with ROXOLANA, Sauvane and KUGATESSA.

Today, Wavewalkrs continues to move between artist releases, live performance and commissioned work. Every project starts with the same belief: sound has a shape. It can create tension, reveal character, hold memory and give an image a life beyond the screen.
